What Zumboard does
Zumboard schedules and publishes Pins to Pinterest boards that you own, on your instruction, using the official Pinterest API. Every Pin is created by you or by a campaign you configured; Zumboard only controls the time of publishing.
Data we collect
- Account data: your email address, used for sign-in and alerts.
- Pinterest data: your Pinterest user ID, username, board list, and the OAuth access and refresh tokens Pinterest issues when you authorise Zumboard. Tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and are never shown to anyone, including our staff.
- Content: images, titles, descriptions and links you upload or import (for example from your own WordPress site) so that we can publish them.
- Analytics: impression, save and click counts for Pins you published through Zumboard, retrieved from Pinterest to show you your performance.
What we never do
- We never ask for your Pinterest password and never automate a browser or session cookies.
- We do not read, store or analyse Pins or boards that were not created through Zumboard, beyond listing your board names so you can pick one.
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers and we do not use your content to train AI models.
Third parties
Hosting and database: Supabase (EU or US region as configured). Payments: Stripe — we never see your card number. Email alerts: Resend. Optional AI features send the text or image you submit to Anthropic (copy) or Google (designs) to produce the result you requested; nothing else is sent.
Retention and deletion
You can disconnect a Pinterest account at any time; its tokens are deleted immediately. Deleting your workspace removes all Pins, images and analytics. Email privacy@zumboard.com for a full data export or account deletion under GDPR.
Your use of Pinterest through Zumboard is also subject to the Pinterest privacy policy. You can revoke Zumboard's access from your Pinterest settings under Connected apps.
